I‘m a big believer and fan of Niche Marketing. What that means is, you focus your business’s marketing on a specific demographic or sector of the population. The more specific you can get with your niche, the higher the chance that your marketing will hit the bullseye, and you will create sales.
But it’s a tough one. How do you find your niche? And once you figure out where it is, how do you conquer it?
One of my former BCIT students sent met this great article by Tim Donnelly at INC Magazine the other day, and I wanted to share it with you.
The process of finding a target market and narrowing your company’s focus to appeal to it directly often trips up new businesses, who find it difficult to turn down business opportunities when they arise.
