Last week, I got sent this infographic. The timing seemed perfect, in light of how interested I had been in the recent spate of articles about using Social Media in the classroom.
Have a look, and then let me know what you think. Is social media good for the classroom, or is it ruining it?

Love the infographic! Surprise to see how much better the Twitter users do in school than the Facebook users. But we already knew we were a smarter crew 😉
Does anyone think that students can be both social and productive? >>> http://twurl.nl/o84cs8
This is one of my questions, too. Is it possible that today’s kids are learning in new ways? Yes, social media is distracting, but is it possible that today’s students are able to integrate it more into their lives?
Im thinking there must be a “sweet spot” right. I’m interested in learning about such solutions so do tell if you find any 🙂 But maybe social learning is the next wave?
