I spent last weekend training a group of non-profit fundraisers how to use social media.

One question that came up was, “how can I accept donations through Facebook?”

It’s actually relatively easy, Facebook has created apps for that! You need to decide, though, first of all, which one you’re going to use. If you are a not-for-profit, or just a regular joe (many bloggers and software developers will do what they do for free, but happily accept donations), you want to use the “Donate” app. If you are a registered charity, you’ll want to use the “Causes” app.
