Amanda Palmer: The Art of Asking

This is a brand-new TED talk, and I wanted to share it with you.

Just watch this. I cried buckets. It’s beautiful. It’s about art and social media and crowdfunding and a whole bunch of other things I love.

In yoga, we often close each class by saying “Namaste.” Namaste means “the light in me recognizes the light in you.” Go out today in the world and “see” just one person. Really see them. Connect with them. Acknowledge them. And thank them. If we all did this today, the world would become a slightly better place.

Namaste.
