I’m a juggler. Not really. That title goes to my friend Matt Henry (seriously, check him out), but I am a metaphorical juggler. I don’t like to get bored, so I usually have quite a few things going on at any given time.
I’m also terrible at saying “no,” something which has gotten me into some professional hot water recently.
So. I’m writing a book. I can’t remember if I told you this yet or not, because the book is all about the other part of my life, which is food. I’ve written about it copiously on my food blog, because my book is a cookbook.
I signed a deal with Robert Rose, a Canadian Cookbook Publisher, earlier this summer, and my deadline is fast approaching.
It’s been an interesting journey, and, at times, a tough one. But at the end of the day, I love what I do, and I love being in my kitchen for hours each day, messing around with ingredients. I’m going to be really proud of this thing once it’s done.
So, I’m begging your forgiveness, dear reader, but I need to take some time off from this blog to get ‘er done.
My book’s rough draft is due October 1, so you may not see much of me showing up here over the next two weeks.
Please do dial into my Facebook page, my Instagram or my food blog to see the updates on that front.
I’ll see you on the other side, and thank you, thank you, thank you for your support!
