Big news, kids!
I’m going to be speaking at Social Media Camp this year. This will be my third time presenting at SMC, which has now grown to be Canada’s biggest social media conference. It will take place May 3 & 4, 2017, in Victoria.
I always love going. You know that feeling, when you walk into a room, and you can let your hair down? When you just know “this is my tribe?” Well, that’s what SMC is all about. That, and some superstar speakers, many of whom I’m really proud to call my friends.
Yup, you’ll see Bosco Anthony, Steve Dotto, Angela Crocker, and many other cool social media peeps there.
This year’s SMC features 48 talks by 36 speakers, from 5 different countries.
My talk this year will be about Influencer Marketing. Influencer Marketing has been on the rise over the last few years, and I’m in a unique position, because I both work with influencers, and I am one, so I see both sides.
My presentation will be to business owners that want to work with influencers, and include information about what influencer marketing is; how it can benefit your business, and how to actually do it. I’ll share my method for researching influencers and reaching out them.
